Cotton buds: dangerous for you ... and for the environment

Poor use of cotton buds can be a real risk if an earwax plug is already present. The use of cotton buds can, for example, lead to the earwax plug being compacted against the eardrum, thus aggravating the symptoms and risking perforating the eardrum.
